Almost a year ago I had posted that I have got a new laptop hp 6910p, laptop has been working fine but just after a year its battery has completely died down.
It only gives a backup time of 5 minutes and sometimes not even that and as soon as the AC power is switched off the laptop shuts itself down.
Now I understand that batteries usually only last about a year or two but what is concerning me is that laptop does not even go for hibernation and just shuts down abruptly, causing loss of current work and data.
I believe the batteries of Mobile Phones have advanced quite a bit, they run for many years without any significant loss and give a great backup time, I think the laptop industry also needs to learn few things about batteries from the cell phone manufactures specially Nokia!!
