CTRL + c or CTRL + Insert (Ins) is the short cut for copy
CTRL + v or SHIFT + Insert (Ins) is the shortcut for paste
It is a global shortcut and works in most of the applications and software’s on files/folders and text, you just have to select or highlight the item that you want to copy.
