Here is how you can change the mode of a Zoom ADSL Modem
Suppose we want to change to ADSL2+ from multimode
Telnet into the modem from a DOS prompt by typing
telnet://10.0.0.2
login = admin
password = zoomadsl (i.e. the default password)
Login Successful
At the Command prompt $ type
modify dsl config adsl2plus
After you enter this command, enter “commit” and then “reboot”
Mode will now be set to adsl2+, you can also confirm this by going to the admin page of the modem located at http://10.0.0.2
