What is WAP
Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) in general can be termed as the
worldwide standard for providing internet communications and advanced
telephony services on digital mobile phones, pagers, personal digital
assistants and other wireless terminals. It is an open, global
specification, which has support for most wireless networks and empowers
mobile users with wireless devices to easily access information and interact
with other similar services instantly.
